ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned about you is that you have commitment. Being a single mother and graduating on the President's list is impressive.
ReplyDeleteYour family is different from mine because it seems as if you have strong Appalachian roots, I do not. I come from a long line of Italian immigrants.
The best thing about your digital story is seeing how much respect you have for your parents. It seems as though they raised you right.
One thing I learned about you are very creative in expressing yourself with words, designs, and music. I assumed that you liked to do scrap- booking.
ReplyDeleteYour family is similar to mine because we are also a family who lived in the country side in a West Virginia hollow.
The best thing about your digital story is the amount of pictures and music variation with those pictures. The music helped to organize the pictures into a story. Great!
One thing you might change is to add a few individual pictures in places in order to make the story longer. When the story ended I was sad that it had ended so soon. There is a lot of life experiences that I didn't get to experience through your project. It was wonderful!
I really enjoyed your video. It was very bright and you used neat backgrounds. We both like the outdoors and you seem very close to your mother. My mom is my best friend! I really liked all of the different musics you used as well.

The best thing about your digital story is that your music changes to match the tone of the story. I also liked how you varied the layout of your slides!
I enjoyed watching your digital story. I thought the backgrounds behind the pictures were really cool, but it was kind of hard to see some of your pictures. However, I think your story was really good!

ReplyDeleteYour video was filled with soooo many amazing pictures, I was blown away. It was a really unique photo story and different from everyone else. That was the really cool thing about it.

Your family is similar to mine because my grandfather also built his home with his own two hands, and gardens and cooking have always been very important. The best thing about your digital story is I really liked how you pulled everything together. It was very nicely done!

ReplyDeleteI can really tell that you spent a lot of time on your digital story. It is very well put together and extremely unique. I can tell that your boys mean the world to you and they are adorable!I also had several Cabbage Patch Dolls when I was little and I had forgot completely about them until watching your video.!
This is an outstanding digital story! I enjoyed learning about your unique upbringing! This digital story works well to push back on stereotypes about young single mothers! Great job Calla!
